4th of July
I am so excited about this weekend! This is our first official event as The Way Church! Granbury hosts a huge 4th of July event every year and we get to be a part of it by setting up a vendor booth. Our banners look great and we are going to pass out joke cards to the kids. We are believing for a lot of great connections this weekend in the community. I am realizing more and more that things may not always be perfect and easy when you step out and do something that God has told you to do. But I know that when we look back at our beginning steps that we will be so thankful we pressed through even when times were hard. Just because it may not be easy doesn't mean you have missed God, it just means you need to get in there and do whatever it takes to make it happen, and God will honor that! I love an adventure, it's all part of God's plan to make life more interesting!

First Blog.....ever
Hello Everyone,
This is so exciting, I have never, ever, ever, blogged before. Which seems so unreal in this day because everyone blogs. I just never thought anyone would really be interested in my thoughts, but maybe someone will be! I should start off by saying my name is Amy Tubbs, I am married to the future Founding pastor of The Way church, we are so excited about this new adventure. We have three beautiful children. His name by the way is Barry, I forgot to tell you. Their ages are 10, 9, and 8. Trin is my son, he's the oldest, Victoria is the middle, and Olivia is the baby! Anyway, I felt like it would be a good idea to start a blog so that people could keep up with us as we start this process of a church plant. I also want to keep in touch with people more.
The first thing I would like to "blog about" would be how much Barry and I have loved serving at Centerpoint Church. We get to work and serve with wonderful people and we have such loving Pastors. This church has been a nest for us as we have learned what to do and what not to do. We wouldn't be on our way to starting a church if we had not had the privilige of serving here. If you are faithful in someone elses vision and goals then God will reward you with your own garden to tend. Our time here is coming to an end after 7 years. Very bittesweet because we veiw these people as our own family. They will always be with us. Well, that's all I wanted to say today, my next blogs will not be so long and hopefully they will be more encouraging. God is so good!
